Site Update
EnidScanner.com has a new look.
Over the past week, the site was rebuilt with a custom backend and frontend to replace the old plain white layout with a darker, cleaner design and blue accents. The goal was simple: keep the live scanner experience people already use, but make the site easier to navigate, easier to read, and more useful going forward.
The scanner player is still here and still works the same way. The biggest difference is the site around it now feels more organized and modern.
What Changed
The most noticeable change is the new dark design. The darker background gives the site a cleaner look, while the blue accents help important areas stand out without making the page feel cluttered.
A few highlights include:
- A custom-built backend and frontend
- A cleaner dark layout with blue accents
- Better organization across the site
- A more polished homepage and navigation
- The same scanner player visitors already know
During important weather or local alert situations, parts of the site can shift from blue to red. That red mode is meant to be a quick visual cue that something more serious may be active.
The Scanner Player Is Still the Focus
The live scanner player remains the main part of EnidScanner.com. This update was not about replacing what already worked. It was about building a better site around it.
You can still listen to the live feed, check listening information, view weather and alert details, browse updates, and use the support form when something needs attention.
Better Organization
A big part of this rebuild was making the site easier to move through. The old site worked, but it was plain and limited. The new version gives each major area a clearer place.

Feedback Is Welcome
This is a new launch, so feedback is helpful. If you notice a broken link, something that looks odd, a page that does not load right, or anything that feels confusing, please use the Report / Support page and choose General Help.
Suggestions are welcome too. The site is going to keep improving, and user feedback helps decide what needs attention next.
Feel free to click around and test things. If something breaks, I want to know.
What’s Coming Next
This facelift is the first step. The next goal is to improve the player experience so it feels smoother and more seamless on the site.
Hardware upgrades are also planned. Those upgrades should make it possible to add more features and improve the listening experience over time.
Some of the next goals include:
- Smoother player presentation
- Hardware upgrades
- Additional site features
- Continued cleanup based on user feedback
Staying Updated
Update notifications are not fully set up yet. If you want to be personally notified about site changes, use the General Help option on the Report / Support page and let me know.
For now, that is the best way to stay in the loop while the site continues to evolve.
Just the Beginning
The new EnidScanner.com gives the site a stronger identity and a cleaner foundation for future improvements. The scanner feed is still the heart of the site, but the experience around it is now much better organized.
More improvements are coming. This new design is just the start.
